How should I answer the question of where I see myself in five years?

As you sit down for the job interview the sweat begins.  You’ve done your homework, but there is still some apprehension around what questions will be asked and more importantly how to answer those questions.  The fear is natural and with the right amount of antiperspirant, your anxiety will probably go unnoticed. 

There’s one famous interview question that many people dread. 

So…where do you see yourself in five years?

No need to fear, here’s a good answer:

As a therapy professional, I would like to develop my skill set.  In five years, I would like to be recognized as a leader in the field and to be seen as an expert.  I feel that through this position, I will have an opportunity to do so.
